Greetings! The ECC Future Leaders mid-year meeting was a great success! The sessions began on Wednesday March 4th with the welcome reception. This was a great chance to network, meet first year Future Leaders.

On Thursday, the day began with a welcome, safety moment, and introduction to the Future Leader Program. As is the tradition with Future Leader events, we were honored to have an excellent speaker. Professor Maxim Sytch, Associate Professor of Management & Organizations from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business presented on “Influence and Engagement.” Professor Sytch had an intriguing message which offered practical “take-aways” related to interpersonal interactions and negotiating techniques.

The mid-year meeting also offered networking activities and opportunities, a chance to interact with the ECC Board of Directors, and a chance to reacquaint with friends from across the industry. Finally, a working session was held by the Future Leader teams that will build toward the conference. The Social Media Team is actively working to provide updates through several formats.
