The Future is Now: Moving from Talk to Traction

Based on the current global situation, ECC will be delivering the Annual PerspECCtives Conference in a virtual and highly interactive format. We are offering the conference at a much lower cost to ensure a broad reach into our community during this unprecedented time. ECC’s value proposition remains clear: Providing leadership to the capital projects industry to help improve efficiency and competitiveness of the projects we deliver.  We can only do this with your engagement and look forward to working with you to continuously provide value.

The 2020 ECC Conference will feature the same high caliber of global speakers and industry leaders that we have become known for, with new opportunities to network and interact.

This year’s theme is The Future is Now: Moving from Talk to Traction.

For years, the Capital Projects Industry has discussed and developed the concepts required to transform and improve execution delivery and talent management. Many of us have implemented these new tools or programs with the end results falling short of expectations. We made the investments but the deployment of more capital and hours returned little to no improvement in project delivery. Our teams reverted back to the status quo. The tremendous challenges of 2020 have been a catalyst for working in new ways and revealing additional opportunities.

Cautiously participating in the conversation won’t get us there. It will require intentional action by Owners, Contractors and Suppliers creating a “one team” collaborative environment. This year’s conference will address what it takes to move great ideas into action. As we work in a “new norm”, intentional focus on organizational infrastructure and behaviors are required to realize meaningful and sustainable results. The future is now. It is time to get traction!

Also, our highly regarded Future Leaders Program, Sponsor Only Session and the newly established Academic and Workforce Development Committee will be taking advantage of this new online, interactive format. As soon as it is socially responsible to gather again in person, we will return to this format. Registration will open mid-June and additional details will be communicated shortly via email or check the ECC website for updates.
