A new year is upon us, and we enter it energized by the response to the 2011 ECC conference...
2011 Annual Conference presentations are now available online on the Past Conferences page of our website.
What does an affiliate of the AIChE mean?
For many years, the ECC operated as a Division of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers. The AIChE handled our finances as well as our meeting and conference planning.
In 2003, the ECC became a stand alone, non-profit organization and established Affiliate status with the AIChE.
As an affiliate, the ECC maintains its link to this prestigious organization, its networks and resources while establishing independent status. As an Affiliate, the ECC sets its vision and objectives, and manages its own finances, meetings, conference venues, conference content and communications. In essence, Affiliate status enables both organizations to focus on their respective core objectives while still maintaining an organizational link and alignment. Members of the ECC Executive Board meet yearly with AIChE leadership.
Recognize those you feel embody the spirit of ECC. Will be awarded at the 44th ECC Annual Conference.
Help ECC build a network of emerging professionals and new leaders in our industry, for sharing fresh perspectives and new knowledge.
